The Mayor Square has the appearence of the typical medieval square, surrounded by houses with arcades. Looking upwards, you will find the church, dominating the town. The square is surrounded by 234 balconies. Each balcony has an owner, which is not necessary the same than that of the house in which the balcony is located. Still, despite of the ownership of the balcony, the owners of the house have the right to use the balcony when there are public events in the square, such as theater comedies, games, religious acts, bull-fights, etc.
