By far, the most significant architectural piece of Guadalajara. It was seriously injured during the civil war, still, after several reconstruction processes, it is no possible to enjoy it during the visiting schedules: Open from 9:00 to 21:00 on Mondays to Fridays, and from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 on Sundays and public holidays.

Just a few meters away from the Infantado Palace, is located the Remedios Church, which is beautiful in the inside, as a result of its well designed proportions, its spaciousness, elegance and excellent illumination.

Santiago Church, a jewel of the Mudejar art, previously the Santa Clara convent, was restored in 1974 by González Varcárcel, when it achieved its current appearence.

Opposite Santa María Square, on the slope of San Miguel, we will find the chapel of Luís de Lucena, a small and almost unique construction which has a surprising variety decorative elements made from bricks, the only raw material that was used for constructing this building.

In Santo Domingo square, currently the main center of Guadalajara, it is possible to find San Ginés Church, which used to be Santo Domingo convent. Also, you can go shopping in any of the many shops available in this zone.

When visiting Guadalajara, you must visit the Duquesa de Sevillano pantheon, as well as the set of buildings that are currently used by the Adoratrices nuns. You can reach this zone by walking along the Capitan Boixareu Rivera Street, crossing through the Concordia park and the San Roque street and avenue. In order to see both architectural settings, the best is to surround the pantheon and view it from the high part of the college.
