CATHEDRAL OF THE ALMUDENA
The construction of the temple began in 1883, still it wasn’t finalised until recently, among other reasons, because the construction activity was paralised during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). The incide is purist Gothic and the front is integrated into the Royal Palace.

ROYAL PALACE
The construction of the Royal Palace lasted 26 years, through wich several kings of the Borbón dinasty held their mandates. The outstanding decoration reflects the decorative taste of Carlos III and Carlos IV. It was used as such until 1931, when Alfonso XIII abdicated. Since then it is only used for Oficial events and, partly, for tourist visits. These can take place in the form of a guided visit or tourists can visit it by their own means. We recommend, due to its special beauty and interest, the Dinning - room, the Porcelain Living-room, the Gasparini Living-room and the Living-room of the Throne.
