LAS VENTAS
The bullring of Madrid is one of the nicest in Spain; built in 1929, in a neo-mudejar style, it was built to replace the previous one, which was located in the same place than the current Palace of Sports. The bull-fighting period takes place from May to October, during this period there is a bull-fight in this bullring every Sunday, except for the festivities of Madrid, when there is a bull-fight every day. In the outside the statues of Antonion Bienvenida and José Cubero are a tribute to the art of bull-fighting.
