SAN ESTEBAN
It is a traditional saying that Cristóbal Colón disputed with the Dominicans his theories about the route to The Indies. It is well known that his ideas were accepted by Brother Diego de Deza, as well as that he encouraged Cristóbal Colón to put his theories into practice, therefore it is said that Cristóbal Colon’s enterprise took place thanks to Brother Diego de Deza and the Dominicans of Salamanca. The best time for viewing its front is when the Sun is laying down in the horizon, when the sun rays hit sidelong onto the front.
