UNIVERSITY

University Founded in 1243, this university is one of the oldest in Spain, founded just a few years after that of Bologne and Paris. It is the emblematic building of the Spanish Plateresque, with predominant floral themes, in its center there is a medallion with the busts of the Catholic Kings. Once here, you should try to find in the front, the famous frog which is placed on top of a skull.

LITTLE SCHOOL

School nearby the University typical in the Salamanca art , the front has a nice Plateresque style, in the courtyard there is a statue of Fray Luis de León, made in Rome, in 1869 by Nicasio Sevilla.
