SAN MARTÍN CHURCH
Located in Real street, dominating the Sirenas square, it is one of the most beautiful churches in Segovia. This romanic temple, dated from the 12 century, has three superb porticos and wonderful fronts, being the outside one the most interesting one, with sculptures in all of its columns. In the inside, there are wonderful images, among them a recilining Christ made by Gregorio Fernández. There are also interesting chapels with funerals, being specially remarkable that of the Herrera, which contains a nice altarpiece.

JUAN BRAVO MONUMENT
The same square contains a monument to Juan Bravo, in honor to the captain that lead a socio-politic uprising that had no precedent, in which urban and rural medium classes attempted to achieve a tax-reduction. The uprising did not succeed, the leaders were executed and the emperor Carlos I of Spain and Carlos V of Germany, gained the throne.
